Snowboard kids are a reality on every hill and in every resort in North America. They can start to take formal lessons by the age of 6 in most places -- and snowboard kids who are really gifted have probably already been riding informally for a few years before that!

Looking for snowboards for sale? I don't blame you -- I'm always checking them out, too, even though I already have a few!
1. Your local snowboard shop is the most obvious place to look for snowboards for sale, if you're lucky enough to have one in your area or community.
Acquiring some snowboard safety gear could help change the following statistic: nearly 25% of injuries occur during a rider's very first snowboarding experience, and almost half of them happen during the first season of snowboarding.
So the perils of snowboarding mostly fall to the newcomers, but what I get out of that statistic is that 25% of snowboard-related accidents or injuries happen to experienced riders!
Snowboards are probably one of the hottest commodities for all ages of 'outdoor-sy' types these days. From 6-year-olds to 76-year-olds, the enthusiasm for snowboards runs the gamut!
Kids can first strap on snowboards between the ages of 5 and 7. It's great to put kids on snowboards as early as possible -- but not so great if they don't have some basic coordination and control going on yet. At least kids on snowboards don't have far to fall, and are generally much more flexible than most adults!
