Making a list of snowboarding gear is pretty easy for most of us -- there are the basics, and then there are the accessories or 'extras' that we can all make use of, and love to have!

Choosing the right snowboard bag is one of the most important decisions you'll make when you set out to be a boarder. It doesn't seem like a snowboard bag would be that big a deal, but after all, it may put on a LOT of miles with you over the years, so you want your snowboard bag to be a good one!
The list of snowboard equipment that you need is actually pretty basic, and then there are some accessories that are fairly critical, as well.
Choosing the RIGHT snowboard equipment ISN'T necessarily basic, though -- there is a lot of competition out there, and wading through the minefield of what you need and what you don't need isn't always easy.

Snowboard bindings are no longer a simple addition to a boarder's gear. First of all, there are two completely different kinds of snowboard bindings available, and although there are pros and cons to each type, it basically comes down to a matter of personal preference.
