Acquiring some snowboard safety gear could help change the following statistic: nearly 25% of injuries occur during a rider's very first snowboarding experience, and almost half of them happen during the first season of snowboarding.

So the perils of snowboarding mostly fall to the newcomers, but what I get out of that statistic is that 25% of snowboard-related accidents or injuries happen to experienced riders!

Snowboard goggles come in all shapes, sizes, colors and styles -- because manufacturers know that every rider is different and unique, but we ALL -- unless we're some kind of stupid -- need to put them on right after we don our boots, bindings and boards!

What good are snowboard goggles, you ask? Well, there are four really good reasons why every rider should have at least two pairs of them! (One to wear, and an extra pair in case the first pair gets lost, left behind or stolen, of course).
